Mawlid 2014

“Hadrat Sayyiduna Abu Qatada al-Ansari (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) reported that Allah’s Messenger (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Aalihi wa Sallam) was asked about fasting on Monday, whereupon he said:
“It is (the day) when I was #born and the ( first) revelation was sent down to me.”

A simple question to the opponents:

When the beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Aalihi wa Sallam) used to commemorate his birthday not yearly but on every Monday then how can it be labelled as Shirk or Bid’ah? Is it not a Sunnah of the Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam)?”
